Accessibility Statement
Last updated: June 2026
FaceliftTurkey.us is committed to making this website accessible and usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
Our Accessibility Standards
We aim to meet the following accessibility criteria across all pages of this site:
- Perceivable: All non-text content (images, icons) has descriptive text alternatives. Colour is not used as the only means of conveying information. Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content.
- Operable: All functionality is accessible via keyboard. Navigation is consistent and predictable. Users have sufficient time to read and use content.
- Understandable: Language is set on all pages. Error messages are descriptive. Navigation is consistent across the site.
- Robust: Content is compatible with assistive technologies including screen readers.
Features We Have Implemented
- Semantic HTML5 structure with proper heading hierarchy (H1 → H2 → H3)
- ARIA landmark roles on key page regions (header, nav, main, footer)
- Descriptive
alttext on all informational images - Sufficient colour contrast ratios between text and backgrounds
- Keyboard-accessible navigation menus with visible focus indicators
- Skip-to-content links (where supported by the browser)
- Mobile-responsive design that works across screen sizes
- No content that flashes more than three times per second
Known Limitations
We are continuously working to improve accessibility. Some areas we are actively addressing:
- Some older placeholder images do not yet have full descriptive alt text
- Complex data tables may not render optimally on all screen readers
- Third-party embedded content (if any) may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA
Technical Approach
This website is built with standard HTML5, CSS3, and minimal JavaScript. We do not rely on JavaScript for core content delivery. The site has been tested in major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and with keyboard-only navigation.
